This is a good banana. I usually like to start my day by eating one while thinking about what's next or what happened the day before. It's the day after New Year's and I'm feeling peaceful. I'm on a mini-vacation in a super clean, super organized mansion before I spend 17 hours driving back home to a much messier, much less clean, much smaller house. I'm working on improving it though, as a favor for someone and so that the time I spend there myself isn't so stress inducing. It's not my house, but it does have the space for a good virtual reality room once some clutter is taken care of. Except for a motherboard, I've ordered all the parts to build a new PC, my first from-scratch build since my original one in 2011. My main motivator is that it'll allow me to do wireless VR using my HTC Vive, an experience I've craved since feeling the weight of those 15-foot cables and getting tangled up in them while playing Hover Junkers. I'll also be able to record 4K, 60 FPS HDR footage for the first time. That'll take a while to learn how to edit, though, as I'm not very familiar with Adobe Premiere Pro yet.
It's 9 AM now and I think it's time for me to finally get out of bed. I'm really liking the new Squarespace apps! Being able to make posts like this from my phone is a better use of my time than browsing Twitter or ResetEra, for sure.
